pain

its been several months already and i have a major pain on my upper left side of my arm on my chest part i have already tried going to my doctor several times, they have done x-rays and they cant seem to find the problem my doctor told me it has nothing to do with my heart that its fine. i think the reason he checked my heart is because I'm overweight am 5' 9" i think I'm more than 150 lbs overweight i am really concerned about this pain because it feels really hard and swollen in that area i just want an answer to my problem and something to relieve and make my pain and problem go away because i feel it getting worse and worse every day i cant even sleep anymore and my doctor has even gave me vicodin and muscle relaxants but they dont work the pain is still there and  even my back part on upper left side feels really swollen can you please help me find the answer to my problem

Hi Daniel!

What's your age? You do sound like being pretty young! Chestpain comes from a couple of things - but most usually it is muscular.
Are you often tensed? Do you have a monotone job sitting alot or keeping one position?
Just like we get tension headaches, our chest can react to the same thing - the muscles get worn out and they start aching.
Maybe you could see a physiotherapist about this?
