I have these exact symptoms along with a funny tightening feeling in cheek and under eye and I was diagnosed with tmj
Look into it
this is because the muscles of the jaw are VERY strong and affect everything because we have nerves going from the base of the head all the way through the body...
Have you been diagnosed with TMJ/TMD? Has your dentist mentioned you have this? If so you need a specialist...there aren't many but they are out there...in the meantime...soft food diet, not chewing gum, moist heat applied to the jaw joints (I love my rice pack) no over extending your jaw (opening your mouth super wide) do things to keep the jaw joint as relaxed as possible...the jaw and hips are two the the biggest areas to hold tension...yoga helps, massage helps...you can even massage your own jaw joint, face muscles and neck muscles, but if you can get massages it's worth it! If you can get a TMJ specialist to give you a referral to physical therapy for you jaw that would be a good place to start! Pay attention that you're not clenching your jaw...your tongue should touch lightly touch the top two front teeth on the back and your teeth should be separated not touching...I have been dealing with this for over 25 years and though the pain is never gone...we can get it to a more tolerable place...if you find a specialist you might be able to get botox injections which are supposed to help...I have tried everything but this just because I have other health issues that are worse pain then this one so my TMJ issues are on the back burner for now...keep seeking ways to keep those jaw muscles relaxed!
