9-10 yr Hashimoto's thyroiditis, shaking- are my parathyroids going bad too?

46 yo female on Synthroid 200 mcg. Blood levels good. Had nodules:Biopsy results RBC's mixed w/follicular epithelial cells, some Hurthle Cells, many lymphocytes. Current blood levels very good. 6 yrs ago in bad relationship-put on celexa.  After 2 wks woke up, went to bathroom, felt a rushing sensation like I was injected w/something, started sweating-something I never do, vision narrowed, thought I would pass out. called medics-bp low, sugar ok-said it was syncopal episode. that never happened again. Never took Celexa again, But what continued for past 6 yrs was occ 1 hr after evening meal I get very cold, dry mouth, legs start to shake uncontrollably. Feel anxious, chest tight.  Burp some, pass gas some, maybe BM then get tired and can fall asleep. Earlier bad episodes also hard to concentrate, think of words. Blood/urine tests 2 yrs for epinephrine, stress hormones etc.=neg. Couple trips to er-shaking uncontrollably, bp super high-ekg ok. Diag-anxiety reaction, high blood pressure.  No longer use salt. New MD-put on Paroxetine briefly w/occ Xanax. No appetite. Diag w/hiatal hernia by barium swallow-put on Prilosec. BP still up-put on Hctz-on 19 days-mid sternal flutter/jump. stop hctz, flutter lessened a lot.  Read that limb shaking is a symptom of bad parathyroid/pth problem.  Occ tingles in L.Arm in diff areas.

About 18 months ago, I had an adenoma on one of my parathyroid glands. I had been having a lot of kidney stones, and my serum calcium was too high. I researched info on the parathyroid, and it was my impression that although they surround the thyroid glad, they really don't have any thing to do with it.  Yet, now that I have nodules on my rt thyroid gland and severe hypo w/all the symptoms, I find in my research many references to the parathyroid, and it was even mentioned by the endo I am soon to see. The parathyroid adenoma was benign, and thank God no more stones!  Is there more of a connection between the thyroid and the parathyroids than I was ever told? I would almost rather take a kidney stone over these hypo symptoms! I cannot believe how bad it can get!!

Doubt parathyroid - easy to check however with PTH level and calcium level -- usually parathyroid is NOT involved in hashi patients.  May want to repeat tests for adrenaline levels that were normal two years ago.  Also make sure that 200mcg of synthroid isn't too much for you.  Biopsy you had in past is c/w hashi.
