Sounds like a technical issue or a difference of opinion on if the nodule replaces the lobe, is one nodule vs two (or more), etc...May be best to see an endocrinologist who does his/her own ultrasound to determine what is going on.
Could it be the cystic part drained and that is why there are two small nodules left? I dont know how small nodules are until i see surgeon on thurs. I looked back on my old ultrasound and it said hetergenous which means cystic and solid right? i know I must sound alittle nutty but it just seems to be changing even my tsh is 1.20 which is a good thing. Just dont understand if i am not right about hetergenous what happened to my large nodule.
