TSH 1.55 at 12 week of pragnency

Hello

My Wife is 12 week pragnent ,
Her TSH was 6.42 at 8 weeks of pragnency & she is taking thyronorm 50 mg daily from 8 th week.
So at 12 th week of her pragnency , her TSH come down to 1.55.

Therefore my question is whether she has to stop Thyronorm 50 mg or reduce it.
I afraid if she continue with the same dose then her TSH could go down below the minimum range.
But Our Gyno Doctor told to continue with the same dose.
Plz reply

Is better to have a slightly low TSH than a high TSH during pregnancy.  The increase was appropriate and a TSH at 1.55 is good.  Recommend continuing to follow TSH levels every 4-6 weeks during pregnancy.  Target for pregnancy is 0.3-2.0.

Thank you sir for your reply . I want to ask you one more question.

I am giving you the details –

My wife is 15 week  pregnant on 18/04/2012.

She had her last menstruation on 06/01/2012.

Her TSH on 22/02/2012 is 6.42 µIu/ml

Her FT4 on 22/02/2012 is 1.13 ng/dl

Her TSH on 30/03/2012 is 1.55 µIu/ml

Her TSH on 13/04/2012 is 2.46 µIu/ml

Her FT4 on 13/04/2012 is 1.08 ng/dl

She is taking  Thyronorm 50 mg daily from 25/02/2012

So my question is --

as my wife has TSH 6.42 ,Which is above normal & FT4 1.13 at 8 th weeks of pragnency , so does it already affect the baby ?!
