Thyoid nodule

I had a thyroid scan that showed the R thyroid is homogeneous in echotecture.  There is a dominant nodule in the interpolar region with heterogeneous echotexture containing isoechoic and hypoechoic components and measuring 2.4x1.6 x1.5 cm.  there is blood flow within the nodule.  There are multiple 5mm lesion noted in the L thyroid.  There is a 0.6x0.4x0.6 cm nodule in the L interpolar region with complex echotexture color doppler shows blood flow.  Should I be worried and should I get more test done.

Definitely need a biopsy. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in Oct. of 2010. The biopsy is the only definitive test. It will ease your mind so insist on one. If you need a thyroidectomy remove entire thyroid. I had to have 2 surgeries because my endocrinologist told me to get a partial. Find a good endo or ENT.
