Hi,
I just got my lab results back for a thyroid ultra sound reading: mildly enlarged thyroid gland. There is a 5x2 mm oval hypoechoic nodule in the left lobe of the gland. The nodule is vascularized and well defined with no calcifications. I have had ear pressure for 4-5 weeks, miss-diagnosed with antibiotics because they thought it was due to sinusitis. Then told it was TMJ...then possible Menaires? Explained about the neck-throat pain, difficulty swallowing and apnea. Drs finnally did a CT scan of head only and finally told me it could be Labyrinthitis. Vertigo going on 5 weeks now. Ears not popping as much but neck still painful? TSH T4 all within normal range? Any ideas? Dr wants to schedule a thyroid scan?
