The most important test to get done is free T4 and free T3, as well as thyroid antibodies, and ANAs. Get your adrenal glands tested to. I don't know anything about the parathyroid glands.

The docs are stuck on the TSH score way too much, btw.

Thyroid doesn't cause infections, but it lowers your resistance to infection. It can cause extreme fatigue, weight gain or loss, muscle weakness, breathing difficulty, and on and on.

It can also cause other hormones to be out of balance, like the sex hormones and adrenal hormones. Excess or lack of these hormones can cause hot flashes. They can also impair your body's ability to process the thyroid hormones, making you feel hypo even with high or normal thyroid hormones in your blood.

Please ask your doctor to test ferritin, B12, 25-hydroxy Vitamin D, adrenal function and sex hormones. Get the big picture to figure out what is wrong, because these hormones all interact with each other.
