thyroid ck
i had a total thyroidectomy in 11/2012 for ca. i have not had a tsh level ck since. i did have the i131 and what do i do now.
thank you for the information, i will ck with my endo about tsh level and getting a rx.

Usually we recheck TSH levels 6-8 weeks after I-131 to confirm stable dose. Then we recheck thyroglobulin panel and ultrasound 6 months post I-131. Your doctor should outline the followup plan for you.
