thyroid nodule 6mm

Symptoms for 6 months pain above thyroid, extremely hot flushes or extremely cold or my skin feels like it is crawling hard to swallow, weight gain im post menopausal for 20 years. I take 1.25 estrogen. Just feel out of sorts and I have for six months. 22lb weight gain in 4 months.  Thyroid blood wk normal and glucose levels normal. Smell something burning all the time. 6mm nodule and I do feel me being out of sorts  ihas everything to do with nodule im me not always like others. Waiting on call for endo appt.  Pain in my ear and jaw. Is this normal? Do I need to worry?

The 6mm nodule is likely an incidental finding unrelated to your symptoms.  Would consider ENT evaluation if pain continues and endocrinologist confirms it is no thyroid.  These could be acid relux symptoms.

I made them do an ultrasound on my thyroid because of my fatigue and weight gain and my palpations. Swallowing on the left side is difficult depending on how I lay.

Ok thank you so much I had acid reflux checked it is not related to it. Waiting on Endo appt. Went to the american thyroid site. Found nothing good about a focal course calcification cyst at all. So we will see what endo has to say. Thanks again.
