Atypical biopsy's for hyperthyroidism

I have hyperthyroidism, i have had this for over 2years & it had been left untreated by my doctor due to my body not coping with the medications. i have recently had my 3rd biopsy''s done, i have 8 goiters & 1 cyst in my throat. until now my biopsy's were benign  but yesterday they came back ATYPICAL & suspicious in stleast 6 goitre's. I was just wondering if this could actually be cancer, or something for me to worry about.....

If you have seen a specialist, would go with his recommendations.

Thankyou for your response, i have seen my thyroid specialist recently & he advised me to have all my nodules removed because of the ""nasty""nodule behind the butterfly, he could not tell me if this is cancer or not but yes he said it was very suspicious, this same nodule had not changed for 15months & now he says it is suspicious..... my grandma had GRAVES DISEASE for 2 years before she passed & my father has cancer of the nymph glands....

Would see a thyroid expert for second opinion.
This is not a straight-forward situation and needs to be looked at by an experienced thyroid specialist to determine if this atypia is due to changes sometimes seen in hyperthyroidism (some call it "flame cells") or if this is truly suspicious - in which case a total thyroidectomy would address the nodular goiter (you have only one goiter, but multiple nodules within that goiter) AND the hyperthyroidism.
