Dominant complex solid nodule

I had an US done and the results came back as mildly asymmetric thyroid gland with Dominant complex solid nodule in the left lobe. Shows moderate hyperemia with no definite micro calcification.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Probably should undergo FNA biopsy if the TSH (blood test) is normal or high. If the TSH is low, then an I-123 uptake/scan is done to see if the nodule is "hot" (toxic) in which case it can cause hyperthyroidism but would not likely be cancer.
