Follow up info and question

Thanks for info on generics.Though i do fail to see how my TSH can jump from 2.9 then to 0.4 and then to 5.1 on the same dose with the results being taken at the same time of the day and the same number of hours after taking my dose. These are big inconsistencies and the FT4 is jumping up and down as well. My body feels dreadful.  Please answer my original question: How long does it normally take someone to stabilise?

Thanks for the input. What do you think personally could be the problem? I take no supplements and i eat the same breakfast almost every morning (i have done this since i began levothyroxine to try and avoid problems). Any ideas?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
It usually takes 3-6 months to stabilize a new hypo patient on medications.  In the beginning the TSH may vary like this - but I agree that the fluctuation (barring any other medication, diet, compliance issues) is unusual.  Would discuss w/ your endo and take in all supplement/medications for review.
