The best thing you can do is not to get ahead of yourself for your own sanity. I have had 2 FNB 2 Ultrasounds a partial Thyroidectomy with frozen section that all came back inconclusive. It wasn't until the rest of the lump came back from being reviewed and diasected at another lab did I finally get the diagnosis of Follicular Carcinoma. Within a month and a half it was a rollercoaster and I felt no control. I can tell you after complete removal now of my Thyroid and soon I will take Radioactive Iodine Treament I am feeling much more relief having it gone. I too come from a long line of cancer patients and am caring for my Mom at this time with Cancer.Just know whatever happens you are never alone and Trust in your Doctors and most of all Trust in the Good Lord above.
you need to wait for the final report, I know the waiting is tough, but otherwise any suggestions would be purely speculative.
