thyroid

I just had a thyroid soon my results the thyroid gland with nodules bilaterally I have a 0.4 nodule posteriorly and left lobe three hypoechic nodules posteriorly ranging from 0.3 to.4cm impression heterogenous thyroid gland with hypoechic nodules I am so so scare help me I have not stop crying

These are very small nodules that about half of people would have on ultrasound.  This is most often benign and does not need biopsy - only repeat ultrasound in 6-12 months to confirm stability.  The description is typical for Hashimoto's thyroiditis -- inflammation of the thyroid that may cause hypothyroidism.  I-123 (nuclear scanning) is not needed to test your thyroid in situations like this.
