Wife had 5cm Mass on left side in thryroid

Should she have surgery, does not seem to bother her, becoming alittle noticable only on one side, this its 5cm by 2 cm , nothing bothering her, but worried over time can get bigger, said not cancerous, should she get a second opinion, I appreciate any feedback

would discuss repeat FNA w/ endo -- usually we wait 2-3 months between FNAs.

Would at least repeat the FNA biopsy given the size and consider having the slides read by an expert second opinion (pathologist - Massoll at U Arkansas or Baloch at U Penn).
Some suggest surgery for anything >3cm but not necessary in most cases.  If it grows, would consider removal.
