Having high calcium and protein in your blood

My doctor is sending me to an Hematologist since I had him do some blood work because I was having some anxiety, lost 14 pounds in 2 1/2 months, loss of appetite, forgetfullness, blurry vision, head pains (headaches)...so I just asked him to do some blood work to check and make sure everything was fine since my aunt told me to do this because she had to get surgery for her thyroid that was causing her trouble, but i thought it could just be my anxiety. I had 10 kidney stones about 3 months ago i am only 22 years old, i have a 3 year old son and I have been looking up things on the internet and all I keep finding is stuff about cancer, and its starting to worry me since I cannot get in touch with my doctor...my grandfather just passed from Leukemia which it was the 5th time returning (but non-hodgekins lymphoma is what it says on the death certificate) so now im terrified that I have it too, if someone could give me some answers about this as to why my calcium and protein levels could both be high?

I got my levels, my calcium was 11 and my protein (in my blood) was 8.7...........is this bad? Or are these just slightly high? All i keep seeing on the internet is stuff about cancer and HIV....could I just have high calcium and protein levels? Im under tons of stress, have had 10 kidney stones about 2 1/2 months ago, but never passed them, so idk if i even passed them. I have asthma that is about the only thing I know of that I have (have chest pain when I breathe in and when I sneeze) but lately ive been having a lot of pressure in my head, and like lower back pain and like pain in the middle of my shoulders, but I read a lot and sit in a car all day at work so this may be why that hurts...im just really nervous and I am scared.

Would ask your doctor - and ask for the PTH result.
Some docs send calcium problems to hematologists when most patients should reallly start w/ an endo -- may be a matter of habbit.

Thank you for answering my questions, but I was wondering why is my doctor sending me to a hematologist instead of a endocrinologist? This is what is making me nervous...

The most common cause of high calcium & kidney stones in an otherwise healthy person is hyperparathyroidism --- would test PTH and Calcium (at same time) to make the diagnosis.  This is a surgically correctable condition.

Not sure what "protein" you are referring to......the PTH must be tested if the calcium is high -- if the PTH is <20 then there may be another (non-parathyroid) cause.  In this case certain cancers need to be considered, but again, this is likely parathyroid disease and you must have a PTH test if not already done.
