Hashimotos /Thyroid Nodules

I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis for more than 10 years, and have a goiter along with multi nodular cysts and have pain and soreness on one side. I have had hoarseness for over a year now, and yet my doctor is unconcerned, barely gives me time at the appts to ask questions.  Radiologist recommends tissue diagnois, but he refuses a biopsy and says don't worry about it.  Obviously I am concerned, how would you recommend I proceed, find a new doctor, play wait and see, get a 2nd opinion?

I agree with your recommendations.  If your doctor doesn't treat you as an individual than you should seek a second opinion.  For the hoarseness.....That is a symptom of a goiter.  I had simular symptoms.  An ENT performed my thyroidectomy.   Good Luck.

Would consider second opinion.
Find an endocrinologist who does his/her own ultrasound in office to determine if there is a nodule that requires FNA.
For hoarseness -- see an ENT to take a look at vocal cords to determine cause.
