A related discussion,
may have messed up tests was started.
lab refused to do the antibodies test cos tsh was normal i also have rheumatoid arthritis and showing antibodies on other parts of my body
had a test done on 1 june that come back as tsh 1.48 which they sayin normal but will not test antibodies but the test in 2008 my tsh was 0.99 can u still have a normal tsh and have antibodies
The question is not quite clear. A TSH of 11.48 is not borderline - it is showing an underactive thyroid that needs further evaluation and likely treatment. Would ask your doctor for more information and to repeat the TSH along with TPO antibodies and T4 levels -- this will help make the likely diagnosis of hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's.
