No thyroid, hives, and now high blood pressure

I have no thyrod since 1994, I am 30 yrs. old now....  I had hives since I was a senior in high school which was in 1997 and anytime I get sick my hives get really bad and don't stop for a while.  I was wondering if my not having a thyroid have something to do with it?  This weekend my blood pressure was really high like around 171/112 and heart rate was around 122, does my not having a thyroid have something to do with that?  I would appreciate if you would let me know, because I am not getting much response from my doctor about it.  High blood pressure runs in my family, so he just assumes it is just genetic.  I wanted to make sure!

Thank You,

Shawna

Would have the levels checked -- too much thyroid can do this to BP and pulse.  Less likely are the hives related with the history of surgical removal of the thyroid but occassionally people are sensitive to the dye in the thyroid tablets.

I have had hives for about 3 month.  I am diabetic and my blood sugar is a little high.  Could too much sugar cause hives.  I even have bumps on my scalp.

I had allergy test and was not highly allergic to anything but ragweed.

If I want to cut out foods to one, what should I eat:
