The nodule is small at 7 mm. However the presence of calcifications as well as a prominent lymph node in the area should prompt biopsy of a least the lymph node and possibly both the lymph node in the nodule. You are in good hands at Johns Hopkins university.
Is your swollen node on the same side as your nodule? How swollen is it? Is it extremley enlarged or just a little bit? I have a 1cm nodule that was biopsied and came back benign(I wasnt really confident about where it was done) now, 6 months later I have an enlarged node I go tomorrow for an ultrasound
