When I do see my Endo on Wed. Is there anything that I should be asking him to educate myself to the meds I am going to be put on? I have 2 kids at home under the age of 3 and I wanted to know how I can keep my energy up while going through this..

You can do an internet search on both the above drugs and their side effects and things you should tell your doctor prior to commencement of these drugs. Make yourself fully conversant with your diagnosis and your pending treatment always be as fully informed as possible prior to going for your appointment. You can print off a copy of the drug companies posting on the web and take that with you to discuss your concerns in his office prior to starting your medication. bestest

Dr Lupo- Is there a difference between levothyroxine and Synthroid or is the Levo generic for the Synthroid? If I suggest that I do not want a generic version, could my needs be met?

You will be put on levothyroxine -- thyroid hormone treatment.  Most people do quite well with this.
