how do high-antibody level affect me

I have been dx: w/ hash. for the past few yrs, after years of complaints.  When my labs were done my antibody levels were 1175.  Before this dx: I did have two miscarriages.  I have been on synthyroid 75mcg and currently my tsh is 1.1.  I have been wondering how my antibody levels affects me.  From what I've been explained I will never get this number back down to the standard 35.  I have since given birth and currently feel great, for the first time in about 10 yrs.

(I was a nursing mama, too--loved it! Congrats on the new baby! :o)) There are several women on the natural thyroid hormones group on Yahoo who HAVE gotten their antibodies down, but they were allowed by their doctors to suppress their TSH whole on Armour. Maybe you could do some research on that.

The magnitude of the antibody rise is not clearly clinically relevant -- there is deabte about this however -- but the best thing that can be done is to keep the TSH around 1.0.  In most cases there are no other immune system consequences and I would not continue to follow the thyroid antibody levels as they will not "normalize."
