Severe neck pain: after taking T4? Or from a T3 insufficiency?

After taking T4 (Levothyroid/50mcg) for three days, I developed severe neck pain (and cramps in my calves). The dose was raised to 75mcg after four days.  The neck pain continues now, after 20 days on the drug.
Have you ever heard of this happening?
                    What might be the causes?
Could it be an insufficiency of T3?
Do people with a T3 insufficiency tend to get neck pain?

Thanks so much for your time and, hopefully, answer.

I'm curious.  Why are you suggesting the use of a low dose of Cytomel in my situation
(see below)?  What exactly are you treating?  If a patient has not improved (as I haven't) on Cytomel, would you think has occurred?

Thanks again for you attention....

This is not typical and would not usually indicate a T3 deficiency.  I have seen a few patients whose muslce pains/cramps improve w/ adding a low dose of cytomel (ie 5mcg).  There is not a clear answer.  Would also consider calcium and magesium check depending on the clinical situation.
