Thyroid Panel Levels and what they mean

I wa diagnosed with Hypothyrodism around May 2012. I hade a hysterectomy, but left my ovaries, in August 2011. The same time my thyroid stopped working my ovaries stopped working. No one has been able to fix or at least make better my energy level. I had more blood work  on 2/1/13 whith the hopes of seeing an endrocronologist. I want to know what my test results mean. The results are: Free Thyroxine Index Normal(3.0),    T3 Uptake Low(23), T4 High(13.0)          TSH Low (0.220).
Can someone please explain what all this means? I want to have some knowledge before my appointment with the specialist.

Thanks.

The most common cause would be that the thyroid medication dose is a bit too high.

i'm not a doctor, but i've had hypo and hyperthyroidism.

are you taking thyroid replacement?  your t4 is high and your tsh is low, and that means you are a little hyperthyroid currently.  maybe you are on too much thyroid replacement meds (ie. synthroid, levothyroxine)?

i was taking synthroid when i was hypo.  i had to slowly taper from 112 to 88 to 50 to 25 when my tsh became low.
