Thyroid, Pituitary Function

Hi Everyone,
For several years I have been having some strange symptoms after 20yrs on the same dosage of levothyroxine 0.175mcg.  Muscle & joint aches (Fibromyalgia), then TSH is 2.7, 1.5,.7.  Last Oct. a nodule on the right side of thyroid, US done, 2cm nodule, solid.  Dec. had a partial thyroidectomy with a micropapillary carcinoma.  TSH 1.7 after surgery, still doing well and feeling much better on levothyroxine 112 & Cytomel 5 mcg.  TSH was .7 and now 6.793.  I was feeling very ill with nausea, vertigo, heart palpitations.  More hormone tests done,  IGF-1 was 40 and yesterday 38.    I had more Pituitary tests done today. Endocrinologist is really confused.  He doesn't know what the heck is going on.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I am now on Synthyroid 137mcg. and Cytomel 5mcg  &  metroprolol 25mg.
I may need to change to another endocrinologist but will wait until these next lab results return.
Thanks,

My hormone studies indicate that I have no growth hormone.  I am having a pituitary MRI on Wed. and my IGF-3 is low.

Cytomel may cause heart palpitations.
A low IGF-1 is nonspecific and can sometimes be due to obesity or other medical problems and not necessarily a pituitary problem though it requires thorough evaluation including checking adrenal (cortisol) levels given the nausea, etc.
