Thank you for the information. I think that the nurse told me all of the possibilities--I was already thinking cancer so I may have stuck with that thought. I do feel better thank you. I have other psoriasis as well which may contribute to this issue.

If you are on steroid pills, a pre-dose am cortisol of 0.5 is okay. If not, then would test further for adrenal insufficiency.
Tg-Ab positivity has no prediction whatsoever for cancer -- I would report the health insurance nurse for erroneous and frightening mis-information.
The positive Ab is more consistent with Hashimotos - which is the likely explanation of "several tiny nodules"
Thyroid nodules could be cancer, but only 5-10% chance and I usually biopsy at 1cm or more.
