Thyroid problems

Hi
I had part of thyroid removed on right side in 2012 . Recently I have not been able to sleep on my left side and it feels like something is not right don't know if I should get referred back to thyroid specialist . I also have cfs/ m e .

It is probably worth at least having an ultrasound to determine if there is any growth or new nodules since surgery.  This may not be thyroid related.

After surgery they checked left side and was a small cyst and that's how the other side started . If it's not thyroid related then what else could it be ?
