Thyroid removal, 3 heart attacks and amputation

Yes, all of that in one guy.  I've had 3 heart attacks and only 25% of my heart alive, I have a blood clot in the dead tip that has made my heart chamber smaller so my ejection fraction is up to 25-30%.  A goiter on my left thyroid was removed when it grew to a grapefuit. Removing the entire thyroid turned out to be correct since even with a negative cancer test we found thyroid cancer in the biopsy of the "good side".

Now I am on Synthroid with lots of symptoms.  Panics, heart rates up to 128, palm sweats while freezing, dizyness, shakyness, chest pressure, inability to sleep, etc. I am scared to death for that clot to break loose or to have another heart attack.  Heart doc wanted to *double* my metroprolol but when I tried I think I almost died. The last time I asked my Endo about symptoms, the helper for the nurse that helps the assistant to the doctor (yes, that is right) told me that my levels were a little off, but since I was having a problem and had concerns about the meds that I should go down from my 125 to 88 and she would send me a script.  Well, I never got the script so I went down to 100 with pills I had left over and I felt even worse.  I decided that was the wrong direction so I stepped up to 150 on my own by taking a 125 and quartering a 100.  After a week, I felt better for about 2 weeks.  I started feeling bad and dropped back down to 125 and felt better for almost a month.  Now I feel bad again.  Should I try to cut up pills again? Heart docs want pulse low, Endo wants high - and I don't think they talk and I am scared they are going to kill me.

Hello I am a 45 year old female and I just had a total thyroid removal - I am seriously having some major complications of my own - I can't sleep - I get extremely hot especially from my chest up - it can be 100 degrees outside and I get cold chills - when I go outside I get so hot I almost pass out -I have burning and stinging in my throat - sometimes when I eat I get sick and throw up- leg cramps also - sometimes my right arm and hand don't feel right - it just goes on and on - I wasn't told all of this before surgery - I also am on synthroid - they haven't determined the strength I need yet - started me out on 150 - then 125 - then 100 is where I am now - I just feel plain awful- any and all help will be appreciated

HI YOUR ENDO AND YOUR CARDIO NEED TO TALK TO ONE ANOTHER.THEY BOTH ARE TAKING CARE OF YOU,AND WHAT EVER TREATMENT ONE IS GIVING YOU THE OTHER NEEDS TO KNOW.THEY NEED TO SET UP PHONE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE THEY SEE YOU AND AFTER YOU ARE SEEN.THAT WAY BOTH KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING.THE DOSAGE IN MEDICINE YOU ARE TAKING AND IF IT IS GOING TO HELP OR IF IT WILL EFFECT YOU HEART OR THYROID,SINCE YOU HAVE TWO PROBLEMS GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME.I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN A FULL RECOVERY.AND THAT YOUR DOCTORS START COMMUNICATING WITH ONE ANOTHER.TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF.TNT406
