One thing to remember is TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is a hormone made by your pituitary gland. It's only effect on the body is on the thyroid. So it being low isn't going to hurt you.
Classically when thyroid hormones levels are low, the pituitary makes more TSH to get the thyroid to make more thyroid hormones. If T3 levels are high, then the pituitary makes less. So the TSH levels being low isn't going to hurt you.
I've read here and there that TSH levels are often low with people taking Armour. Probably your doctor is paying more attention to your T3 levels and symptoms. So if you weren't showing or complaining about hyperactive symptoms, then he then didn't fell the need to change your dose.
This is a saliva test . I take Armour Thyroid 120 mg in the morning, . My TSH is critical low @0.09 and my Free T3 is 3.47. Doctor didn't make any changes on my Armour medication. Please respond :(
Do you mean TSH 0.09 ??
If T4 is 0.09 that is very low and is usually seen when patient take T3 only medication for thyroid - would consider repeating labs and clarifying this abnormality w/ your doctor.
