Hey Doc,just want the through this out to you,,as I had said before I have been with out mt thyroids for 25 years had not been on meds for many years,,so my TSH was pretty high over the years ..near 300,but no symtoms, so been back on them for over a year now,,had gone through some rough changes in my body since I had to restructure my metabolism..Started low at 25mcg,then up the dose each step ever 4 weeks,,go up to 175mcg,on that for 4 weeks, then tested,,TSH was 1.0 T4 free was 1.9,at this point was feel pretty bad,and my anxiety was really bad, only take 2.5mg of xanax daily which helps,my PC said to drop back to 150mcg of the synthroid for a month and see what happens,,but endo said to alternate the 175-150 each day,,well i did the straight 150mcg instead,,had my labs done after 4 weeks,TSH came back 1.14  T4 free 1.9.,,T3 came back 352, my endo said these are good numbers, just abit high on the T3,My anxiety is still kicking in,Will this go away, and dropping down to 150mcg get my T4 down.
Waiting on my PTH test as you requested get results Monday,,my Calcium is staying at 10.1,my Vid D is still low and not sure if I should take sups, like 1000 mul a day, since my alkiline Phoshates is at 159,sed rate is 41, AM blood cortisol is 9.4 ref 4.0-22.0 And Vitamin B-12 is 450 ref 200-1100, Im getting monthly shots for that, and I have nasal intake too. So Im hoping my PTH is ok he said it was 21 with a calcium level at 10.1 last time and said there was no Parathyroid issues,Im asuming that I do have some thyroid left in there since my parathyroids were not moved during operation,, but my kidney stone issue is beyond my Urologist idea, water pills are bring my blood pressure down tp low 108/80 it used to be really high till my TSH came down as did the pressure, but still getting palulations at night..

With a PTH of 21, hyperparathyroidism is not likely.  The thyroid medication may need to be even lower -- some people do better with TSH of 2-5, others around 1 --  it's individual.  The sed rate is high - you may want to ask your doctor about this.  Also could ask about sarcoidosis given the kidney stones, high-normal calcium (which may be due to the diuretic- HCTZ I imagine), and low 25-OH-D along with high sed rate.

Sorry I was bit high on T4 not T3,I work in the desert sun at temps near 120 a day, or did till my thyroid crash, as they think, I think I was dehydrating, and the doc over in the middle east just jumped on the thyroid issue, since i was getting dizzy spells,,but nothing else,,they saw my scare on my neck, plus they said i was puffy in the face around my eyes,,I did not have dry skin,,my hair grows like weeds all over my body,I shave my head and its all back in a month...but as soon as I went on the meds again my body just shut down, bad, So been sticking to the meds for over a year now,,
