borderline hyperthyroid question

Hello,
Over the summer, I started having symptoms of hyperthyroid (anxiety, heart palpiltations, insomnia, weight loss).  My tsh in my bloodwork came back low (.3 i think) They retested me a couple weeks later and it was within range (.6 i believe).  The symptoms cleared, but recently I noticed a few returning - got tested again and now tsh is borderline (.45).   My doc said to get tested again in 6 months.  All my other levels are in range, but in some cases barely.  Could the thyroid be causing these symptoms or is it not quite a low enough number?

My doctor just lowered my dosage from 125mcg to 100mcg. My TSH level was .44, she thinks it could be causing some of my symtoms. Weight loss, jittery, insomnia, never feeling full after I eat. My endo however told me that there was no need to change dosage that it was within normal lab limits. I did not have a choice in the dosage change, my doctor did not like the weight loss. I go back in 4 weeks to get re-tested again. Some people react different to either the higher end of normal or lower end of normal.

I have been over medicated more than three times in the past 14 yrs. Had a TT 14yrs ago. Started out on 200mcg for 12yrs, then my graves/hyper symptoms came back, dosage lowered to 175mcg for a year, then 150mcg, then 125 mcg, now 100 mcg.

I hope you get to feeling better. Keep an eye on your weight....

This low normal TSH does not usually need treatment.  Would monitor as your doctor has suggested.
