No - the ectopic was not likely due to thyroid problems. With future pregnancy attempts, keep TSH in the 0.4.2.0 range when trying to conceive and during pregnancy. With the history of graves ask OB to check TSI (Graves antibody) in early third trimester -- if VERY high, there is a risk of neonatal graves (although this is very rare).
I wouldn't think an ectopic pregnancy would be due to thyroid. Sometimes, miscarriage is related to hypo or hyper, but I have never heard of ectopic. I would have to see the reference range for your bloodwork but it doesn't seem regulated to me. They say your tsh should be between a 1 and 2 to conceive. (not to say you can't conceive at another number but that is the best) I also had thyroid removed and had a miscarriage a few months ago. Keep the faith, it will happen!
