hot flashes in a male

Sorry I know this isn't thyroid related, but I have a suspicion you can help (please).  I have been having SVT here and there, it was recorded as 160 in my sleep with a Holter.   I've also had tachycardia when going about my daily routine along with some near fainting spells.  All that has been going on about 3 months.

Now here...Very recently, in the last few weeks I've started having these hot flashes...they may last 30 minutes, or several hours, in fact I'm having one right now, have been all morning.  My face is unusually red (noticed by people who know me without me asking).  But people who don't me usually aren't sure if I look red (in other words it's a moderate flushing).    But I feel like my face is on fire.  Like I need cold rags on my face.   I also have been having unusual mood swings and irritability (very unlike me),  along with burning shoulder pain.

During the hot flashes, I usually get a moderate and annoying headache and blood pressure that is higher than my normal  ( say 150/85 as opposed to my normal 115/70).   I have too have some wild fluctuations in the BP such as going from  145/85 one minute to  105/45 the next  with symptoms to verify the accuracy of the reading.   My pulse is generally normal and in the 60's to 80's  during this.   The feeling of heat is the worst,  I feel like I do when I had CT contrast in my years ago, it's like that.

I hope you can help me, do I need an Endocrineologist badly?    I only have an electrophysiology appointment coming up and I'm worried he can't help me with this?

Also, adding to my last post. In my response to low levels of energy I then began starting taking those Men ONEADAY multi-vitamins which gave me energy but also made my bones feel more weak then they were and it felt like I could snap in half where it hurts the most which is in my lower back tail bone area. I could really feel the weakness being distributed out from my thyroid area, and things that I could normally lift easily became a problem for me as well as my balance. My whole body was effected by taking these vitamins that I thought would help! Any answers?!

I have MEGA mood swings all the time and sometimes have a hard time keeping myself under control. I dont know what to do anymore so I need answers. Please help me!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
would ask your doctor about testing for pheochromocytoma - it's rare, but you have lots of the symptoms.  The test is a 24 hour urine collection to look for over-production of adrenaline.
