hyperthyroid

I've had a hyperthyroid for 6 years (no treatment) I have 3 nodules on my thyroid, the have been biopsied, non cancerous.  I was suppose to go for radio active iodine but the past 2 blood rests (jan & march) my TSH has come back in the normal range.  Endo can't explain it says that should'nt happen if you have nodules.  Any clue?

The nodules most likely are supressing the function of the remaining thyroid tissue giving you the hypothyroid symptoms.

yes my nodules were hot, and to throw a curve to you I have no symptoms of hyperthyroidism, none, quite the opposite I have more of the symptoms of hypothyroidism, weight gain, fatigue

if these are functional "hot" nodules, then they usually don't get better on their own but nothing is impossible.  Alternatively, you may have had Graves that has burnt out or is temporarily quiet -- would continue to monitor and not do RAI until there is more compelling evidence this is necessary.  I imagine you've had an I-123 -- this can be compared directly to ultrasound and usually can tell if the nodules are "hot"
