Significant calp irritation on Cytomel

I have had my total  thyroidectomy 3 weeks agofor multifocal and node extension cancer and am on the cytomel for 2 weeks now. My scalp appears to have a rash on it and is very dry and I am having hair loss. Is this related to the medication or the change in my hormones? I am getting very self conscious. What can I do? Has anyone else had these symptoms?
thank you Michelle

This may be due to change in thyroid hormone status and stress.
Would likely give it some more time and get through the radioactive iodine (which I assume is why you are on cytomel) but talk with your doctor about this.
