Thyroid "out of whack" was started.
my doctor reduced me from 150mcg of Levothyroxine to 100mcg. my usuall dose is 150 to 175. what would be going on, and she rufuses to put me on armour which many people say they do better on.
TSH- thyroid stimulating hormone is a hormone excreted by the pituitary gland, there is a lot of disagreement on what is the "normal" range. How much of a difference are you talking about ? Higher TSH levels indicate a hypoactive thyroid and lower than normal levels indicate hyperthyroidism. Initially, many thyroid disorders begin as hyper, and then turn hypo. If your levels are fluctuating I really doubt it has anything to do with what you did or didn't do. Your thyroid is out of whack.
significant fluctuations over a short period of time is most likely due to lab error
