Hi, i'm posting this queston on behalf of a friend of mine. This friend had a eye surgery a couple years back due to some eye problems which were caused by her thyroid gland. So i'm not quite sure in which catagory i should ask this question. Apperently there was a lot of pressure on her eyes and the operation was scheduled to relieve her from this stress. The operation wasnt a complete succes, as some of the sinews in her face were damaged. Now she's in pain pretty much every day. Since we're both from the Netherlands, this operation took place in the Netherlands. The surgeon who performed the surgery on my friend explained to her, that there's nothing that can be done about those damaged sinew's because sinew's simply dont heal. Now, my question is... Is this true? Is there absolutly nothing that can be done about a damaged sinew? I understand that this question might be hard to answer since you lack alot of medical details, but any help would be welcome. Since i'm not completly convinced in this surgeon's expertise i figured i could perhaps get some advice from a international doctor since they might have more advanced equipment or knowledge.
Hope to get a response soon,
Richard.
