Holistic /homepathic approach

Anyone used holistic/homepathic as an alternative?  and if so, what did you think and how long did it take to see results.

Thanks
Jem

I just had my very first appt with a homepathic /holistic DR.   She was very full of information about the autoimmune system and how it works --She took about 6 pages of notes on me and my symptoms prior to my thyroid nodules that are deemed to be "Suspicious" for papillary cancer and suspect to Hashmitos and Hurthles cells.    She believes that my internal system is completely out of whack there fore showing a "suspicious" outcome.  She thinks these can be reversed but not cureable but have a better chance of keeping my thyroid at a functional level until surgery is deemed necessary for surgery.   She doesn't have anything against modern medicine and for what it can do and what it stands for ,  but she feels that if homeopathic type medicine can help -- she's all for it.   I will start her medication of sorts -- all natural that is -- in about 2 to 3 weeks once she diagnoses what is going to work best for my system.   And believe me I have a very complicated body system and have had for years.  I'm 46 White Female, married for 21 years -- with lots and lots of miscarriages and somehow this all ties in within itself.   SO anyhoo.  More to follow if ya'll are interested ... and I too have heard about the coconut oil but forgot to mention that to her! ..  Stay tuned
