After RAI

Last May I had RAI 131 for hashitoxicosos, since mt TSH levels have been low, with medication increases every 6 to 8 weeks, I was just raised from 137 , plus 1 extra tab per week to 150 with 1/2 extra tab per week. Last TSH reading one month ago 13.18 (range .34-5.60) Free Thyroxn .091 (range .58-1.64)...I am nearly one month into med change and becoming constioated, bloated and having herat palipitations when having bm, or after eating, I was doing this before RAI, do you feel it's just my body getting used ot the new dose,, or is it on going hypothyroidism, I have gained 14 lbs, and still have alot of pain, and other issues thta go along with hypothyroidism. My intestinal tract seems to react with evry dose change. Had a heartwork-up last April said it was ok.,, slight ishemia, but every thing else apperared fine. Are we ever completely normal after these thyroid issues?

Replacement with medications is never as good as your own hormone production.  But for most people, the medication gets them where they need to be.  You TSH is still too high suggesting that you are not absorbing the medication as well, not taking it consististently or simply need more medication.
