tsh level in pregnancy ( hypothyroid)

Hello doctor,
i m 26 yr old pregnant with first child. i m 22 weeks pregnant now. I m hep B postive too. i had my test on 28th aug but i got informed yesterday (11 sep) that my tsh is elevated it came 5.90. I m on 50 mcg levothyroxin medication. today my doctor increased my dose 50 mcg to 75 mcg.
i want to know is there any risk of IQ of baby? as my tsh has been elevated atleast 12 days according to report. before 28th aug i had test on 21st july. i read in hypothyroid website that hypothyroid cause lower IQ.
Please answer docotor i m really worried abt my baby. I would appreciate it.

                                                                                                                         thankyou.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
A TSH of 5.9 is not very high and is not likely to be associated with low IQ.  The study that looked at this showed TSH of 13 or greater to have the higher risk of low IQ caused by hypothyroidism in the mother.

Target TSH is 0.3-2.0 during pregnancy.
