Severe itchy legs after Thyroid Surgery!

I had a total thyroid removal over five years ago and even though my doctors have said for a while that my levels are exactly where they're supposed to be my legs have been severely itching since about a month after I had the surgery. I've tried lotions and creams and antihistamines and nothing will stop my legs from itching to the point where I scratch them until they bleed
