I am feeling good. I have low Ferritin so that is making me symptomatic. I thought is was my meds, but my labs look good. Trying to restore the iron and be on my merry way!!

From feeling totally like dog poo Jan 08 to feeling not too bad today in April 2009, I must say I never thought I would feel this ok!
I look back and think...why, why, why did the doctors not listen to me...why did I have to suffer...but I guess only now I can look back and realise; I did it. I kicked butts, I took it upon myself to not blame my thyroid for everything and I have pretty much achieved, health wise what I aimed for.
So, while my depression stays at bay, and my levels stay just that bit hyper, I am doing good!

TSH- 2.24 from a 0.24
T4- 1.0 from a 1.1
T3- 288 from a 366

Quite a slide down the scale in frees, and not good for the TSH to bump up to a 2.24 when I was at a 0.24. BUT, this was the switch from Armour to Synthroid with Cytomel. So....I am now bumped up to 100mcg synthroid and 10 mcg cytomel. We are hoping that my conversion will get better after this gallbladder is removed maybe. :)
I have 3 days to increase my levels. I definately think this has added to my labored breathing. The frees are just way too low.

Thanks C!!

Hang in there friends, I've been thru the feeling great on the meds and then it suddenly changing to more hypo or hypo symptoms, the up 2 sizes never to return but did join the wt loss community and have gallbladder issues that are in remission.

Laura, what were your #'s on the hypo?

I WENT HYPO from the med change.....  sniffle sniffle.....trying to get my levels up before tuesday surgery. Dr just increased meds today after we waited almost a whole week for Quest to get results to us!
C- now I know why is was having sooo many breathing issues besides the gallbladder! :)

It is the way I describe how I feel in my daily journal.   Started at awful, went to ok,and is now mostly good.  It was a long winter of feeling awful with muscle aches and tiredness.  I am able to be more active now and am hopeful for a good summer, if it ever decides to get here.

I never thought I'd be able to say it, but I feel great. FINALLY.  My meds have been stable now since December, my levels are finally normal, nothing hurts, no hypo/hyper feelings, no heart palps.....all is well in my "thyroid world" for now.  And I plan on it staying that way!
