Oh, yes!  When I was on vacation was in a wind storm and got a bunch of gravel and stuff imbedded in my face.  Most of it festered up and I got it out like is suppose to happen, but the ones on my chin didn't do that.  So I've had a cyst growing on the right side of my chin.  Kept telling my family that it was a cyst and they said "no, it's just a pimple".  Like a dummy I listened to them b/c you don't want to go pay $81 for the dr to say "yep, it's a pimple all right" so it swelled my entire jaw line on the right side.  Looked like I had the one-sided mumps or something.  Of course my husband the hunter, thought I looked like I was in rut! lol

Anyway, it's a lot better now with some antibiotics and such, but I keep thinking unless I get out whatever's in there it will probably just come back.  Won't that be fun to have removed?  It's just the way my life goes.  Oh, I also have 2 smaller ones that I have to keep drained and meds put on them.  Yipppppeeeeeeee!

Go today to pick up Cortrosyn injection for cortisol tests.  Have to be at endo's at 8:00 am AGAIN for 2 hours of testing.  Also have to go see PCP AGAIN b/c I have cyst that has taken over right side of face.  Look like some kind of freaky monster.  Also have to go this wk for fasting blood sugar, glycolated hemoglobin (3 months) and short term hemoglobin to check for insulin resistance.  How many days are in this wk?  One of them is a holiday!  GEESH!!  Don't know exactly how I'm going to get this all done.  Also need to work in a dentist appt.  Anyone else having horrible problems with their teeth.  Oh, almost forgot also have to have blood drawn to check for rhuematoid arthritis.  yeah.  *sigh*

Now of course all of this is depending on wether or not I can actually get through all the flood water to the places I have to go.  Good thing I drive a 4X4!

I meet with the surgeon on 7/17 to discuss removal of the thyroid and probably get scheduled for the surgery.  Still waiting on the paperwork from the University to find out which doctor I'm going to see.  Have no clue how soon they will schedule the operation.

Supposed to get thyroid blood tests done tomorrow (these were rx'd by Stupidendo).  I think I'll cancel the appt and just wait until the end of the month when I'm supposed to be getting another series of tests rx'd by Methusaluh, which includes a thyroid panel.
