2 thyroid questions

My first question is, has anyone felt like their personality has changed significantly while taking their thyroid medication. I am Hypothyroid and have just recently started taking Levothyroxine. Before i got diagnosed i  was the loudest, abonoxious and just very fast moving person out there. People could never keep up with my pace of work. Now i feel really, really calm and almost to relaxed. Going from one extreme to the other is hard for me to cope with and im just wondering why this is happening. Shouldnt I be more hyperactive now?And also my second question is when I drank alcohol over haloween it really didnt seem to have much affect on me anymore. Is this normal with Levothyroxine? Usually after a few drinks i feel pretty much buzzed, and now its like nothing even happens to me. I thought this was really strange.

I am ok with a drink .. but for the first year it was the opposite of what you all mention .. one glass of wine hit me like  ton of bricks and I had to be very careful relearning of how wine affected me!

Now it's back to normal.

I feel more relaxed but a normal relaxed vs. the anxiety I used to get very often ... more laid back but more me, not the me that fought anxiety.

What is your TSH .. what have the levels changed from?  Just curious.

Wonder if they tweek the meds a bit if you'd get more pep back?

Maybe you are better more hyper than hypo?

Just my thoughts.

Yeah I went from taking on the world to taking on the couch!!!!! I have my feisty days but more laid back now. Drinking has changed for me too. I drank a decent amount on halloween and was barely buzzed!!! I danced all night! The thing I hate is when I do that now like stay up late, I paid for it for a week! I was so tired all week instead of just a day or two!

Toatally can relate on the personality thing.

Yep I am a layed back person - in my eyes - but others still see me a bit feisty.

I notice differences in drinking for me. Sometimes I can drink a ton of stuff and not feel anything - other times I sniff a cork and pass out  :0/
