3 weeks on 200 Armour/natural coompounded (3.33) grns

Update 3 weeks on  this dose compounded Armour 3.33 grains. or 200 .  energy is pretty good  sleeping good. BP is pretty good. pulse slightly high 95/100 range weight up slightly . 1/2 pounds. main complaints that remain are  feeling achey. and joints click pop. and feeling a little stiff still. but these have improved over the last week or so not as bad. just trying to get back to feeling good now. no anxiety/ feel normal./ calm.  some ringing in my ears left but is much less.  not sure if im at the right dose yet. going to wait 1 more week then back for a blood test. see what the levels are at. maybey a small increase would help. but want to give my body time to adapt to the new dose. i think a month is enough? any thoughts. thanks Kevin

Good advice gimmel.
My TSH went to over 7.0 and even though I stayed on the same dosage as the Ft3 and FT4 were ok, within 14 days my TSH dropped to just over 4.0 and now another 4 weeks later has dropped to just over 3.0 (2.3 - 2.5 being my comfort level).
If I had INCREASED because of the TSH being so high, I can 100% guarantee I would be extremely HYPER by now.
So it is wise to take it slow no matter how frustrating it is.
I have been where you are Kevin......and although its an absolute pain in the rear, I would rather have the TSH a fraction higher than normal than to have my FT3 shoot through the roof.
You have come a long way in such a short time....well done!

Hi Kevin
Sometimes the TSH can lag behind a bit from the FT3 and FT4 and even if the bloods show that the FT3 and FT4 are normal but the TSH up a fraction.....just hold tight there , Mate.
Usually its the TSH that causes the aches.
Wait...as gimmel says:)

At that level of medication, and your currently improved condition, I personally would wait for longer than the three weeks.  Moving too quickly and possibly flipping over to hyper is just not worth the risk.

Continuing good news Kevin.  You're going to be one of our poster boys.  LOL

Don't forget that symptoms relief tends to lag behind changes in blood levels.  So slow and steady is best.  You've improved enough now that you can afford to be somewhat patient.
