feeling much less achey last couple of days. msucles feel better less joint pain cracking. energy is good in the morning but then dies in the afternoon to night. tired. !! feel i need to be booster up. Kevin
Good advice gimmel.
My TSH went to over 7.0 and even though I stayed on the same dosage as the Ft3 and FT4 were ok, within 14 days my TSH dropped to just over 4.0 and now another 4 weeks later has dropped to just over 3.0 (2.3 - 2.5 being my comfort level).
If I had INCREASED because of the TSH being so high, I can 100% guarantee I would be extremely HYPER by now.
So it is wise to take it slow no matter how frustrating it is.
I have been where you are Kevin......and although its an absolute pain in the rear, I would rather have the TSH a fraction higher than normal than to have my FT3 shoot through the roof.
You have come a long way in such a short time....well done!
thanks gimel and smilerdeb. im going to. i see it improving. hopefully more in the next weeks. thanks kevin
Hi Kevin
Sometimes the TSH can lag behind a bit from the FT3 and FT4 and even if the bloods show that the FT3 and FT4 are normal but the TSH up a fraction.....just hold tight there , Mate.
Usually its the TSH that causes the aches.
Wait...as gimmel says:)
yea im going to wait at least 4/5 weeks. see if it gets any better. thanks Kevin
At that level of medication, and your currently improved condition, I personally would wait for longer than the three weeks. Moving too quickly and possibly flipping over to hyper is just not worth the risk.
yea i hear you. im hoiping for a little more. then i can wait a while. but not sure if i should wait or just get it checked and maybey upped a 10 or 20 ? I don't know? Kevin
Continuing good news Kevin. You're going to be one of our poster boys. LOL
Don't forget that symptoms relief tends to lag behind changes in blood levels. So slow and steady is best. You've improved enough now that you can afford to be somewhat patient.
