Vertigo

I am in treatment for hyperthyroidism.  I have a low B-12 level and must take an injection once a month.  In the last year, I have suffered 2 bouts of vertigo.  The last worse than the first.  What is the connection if any between the 3 conditions.  My local Dr. says nothing.  I haven't seen my thyroid Dr. since January and since he is 2 1/2 hours away can't ask him.  I had an appointment but the vertigo flare up caused me to cancel as I was too ill to make the trip.  Now, I can't see him until the end of October.

This discussion is related to Graves Disease - bouts with vertigo and B-12 deficiency.

Could you have BPV (benign positional vertigo)?  You can google it if you want to check it out.

How long ago did you do your last set of labs? It could be do to your thyroid levels being off and a combination of your B12 level being low. When did you have B12 checked last?
