Adrenal lesions and absorption of thyroid meds

I am have a very difficult time getting my meds regulated after surgery for a TT
in January of this year tsh 42.88. ft3 2.0 t4 7 and at the first of the year
was at 4.5tsh ft3 3.6 and t4 17 on the same dose of medication.
Now by chance on doing an anual physical they found a 2.4 cm adrenal lesion
on my right Kidney in which they want to leave and just monitor to see if it gets bigger. Now am
I right in thinking that this could be the cause of the whole med problem? Cortisol is slightly high on salvia test.

I went to the dr. yesterday and he basically said well I don't think it is a problem. I am so discouraged. The blood cortisol is in range. Sending me for a cat-scan for what more radiation in my body. My face is swelling etc... I have an appointment with a nerologist tomorrow. I have to get someone to move on this. How do I explain this to him so he will listen and move on this. The lesion is there in black and white on the ultrasound. I need to find out what test can be run besides blood and urine and salvia for the adrenals.  This is ten years dealing with this. My bloodwork before my TT was not bad looking at it but the uptake and scan was off the wall. Blood doesn't  alway show with me. It has to be something more indepth. I had this problem of swelling before and after surgery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely a problem if you have an adrenal lesion. The thyroid and parts of the adrenal gland are both regulated by pituitary hormones. If one is out of whack usually the other will follow. Your pituitary gland is sending a message to the thyroid to 'fix' itself but the message is getting skewed by your adrenal lesion. This is why your medication is not working properly.

The medication replacement hormone is what the thyroid would normally release on its own from the message from the pituitary. The body is not getting the messages and the feedback to the pituitary is send more, send more!
ONLY when you get that adrenal lesion sorted are you going to be able to know what dose you should be on for your thyroid medication.
Good luck.

Cortisol is up all day long. No dips. I am seeing my thyroid doc tomorrow to investigate it further. On same dose I was in April of this year and big difference in levels. Main concern is that how an adrenal lesion would effect thyroid absorption?

It sounds to me that you are still not on a high enough dosage of thyroid medication. What lab range was used for your T4 and are they running a FREE T4 on you?
When is your cortisol level slightly high?  Morning?  It doesn't sound concerning if they aren't even doing any further testing. Did you have a supression test for the cortisol?
