Some time ago, my doctor gave advised me to use the progesterone cream but said he didnt know if it would be benificial. So for the cost, I decided to "forget about it". With miscarriages, andenomyosis, and everything else thats haunting me...I eventually got an IUD.
Basically, I get annoyed at doctors sometimes. They use that 'try this, try that" approach. Costs us a lot of money, wastes a lot of time...would be nice to have some definitive help with hormone issues.
I will watch this space, because I would love to know how the cream works for you.
Good Luck :)
Hello my dear....fear not....natural progesterone is here!! LOL
I have been on natural progesterone for a long while. The cream is very safe as it is plant form....it is not like taking the synthetics as far as blood clot concerns. I have lack of estrogen and lack of progesterone. BUT...my ratio showed estrogen dominance as well! Soooooooo start that progesterone cream right away, make sure it is a good brand without parabens. Message me with the brand you have. Also you have to take it according to your menstrual cycle.
You should slow down on your smoking anyway....just start weaning yourself. As far as the blood factor....get a natural form of Vit E and take everyday and it will thin your blood. There is also a product called Nattokinase that actually dissolves clots and thickness of the blood. I had a bio-identical doctor recommend it to me when I decided to go back on bcp's for 2 years to cycle properly. I was already starting to skip periods with my perimenopause. HUGS!
I wish I knew more ... I don't know anything ... but we are here for you and maybe now you have some answers. As far as the cold turkey thing I can only imagine .... keep us updated as you compile your research ....
Does he think those are the reasons why the wt gain, etc.?
And the deer lights .. sounds like he's in a fog.

I take bio-identical estrogen and progesterone for a few good years and I did not loose weight. They helped me sleeping better and with any menopause symptoms. I gave up smoking 10 years ago.
