You need a new doctor who will r/o other conditions/reasons for your symptoms. Being too tall? It's not like you're a giant!!
Good luck
No. Just said "Its the winter breeze, and your a tall lad (5"11) which is why you should not stand up too quick, dont worry about it"
I walked out.
I have been looking at adrenal fatigue as a poster suggested this just now from another forum like this.
Did the doctor order any routine bloodwork like CBC, Chem Panel, B12, etc?
I have stopped taking it, its been over 3 months now, but im still the same no better, no worse.
The problems i have got are.
Fuzzy Head (cant focus)
Brain Fog
Freezing Hands and Feet 24/7
Dizzy when i stand too quick (low blood pressure tested 90 somthing)
Lethergic
It has gotten worse since i started eating clean (no salt whatsever), gym 2 days a week.
I have now started adding some salt to meals, and consuming iodine.
I was wondering how one buys Armour without a perscription too...
Not everyone has symptoms when they are hyper or hypothyroid. That may be why it didn't seem to have any effect. Either way, it is not healthy to be hyperthyoid naturally or medication induced.
Armour or any thyroid meds, will give your body more hormones than it is making on it's own., whether you need more or not.
How did you get the Armour if your doctor didn't prescribe it?
I know what your saying "Graveslady", the point im getting too, is WHEN i was on it why didnt it have any effect, i would think at that high dose, i would be sweating like a pig, losing weight, heart rate..ect. Hyperthyroid.
Is it because "Armour Thyroid" has no effect on a healthy thyroid, or is my thyroid gland just not producing enough to even make me hyperthyroid. Which is why i dont have any effect.
That is not good enough answer!
Forget about the T3! unless you have test levels to prove otherwise.
I think the subject has been exhausted at this point, you just don't get it!
sorry!
Your reasoning/question "this would not make a difference or have any effect as my thyroid is working properly", is irrelevant !
From what i have read T3 should get to work straight away, which is why i was thinking, why am i not effected even on 120mg.
AR-10 is right!
Why are you taking Armour with such a good TSH level in the first place. I don't understand your reasoning. Armour is no miracle or diet drug.
Your reasoning/question "this would not make a difference or have any effect as my thyroid is working properly", is .
Don't fool around with a good thing - your life and health could depend on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop taking meds you don't even know you need. You could be poisoning yourself. More to the point, you probably ARE poisoning yourself.
These meds take time to build up in your body and they take time to dissipate. You could be in the process of making yourself ill such that it could take a year to recover from.
To top it off, you picked the one form of hormone replacement most likely to mess you up.
I'd stop worrying about the pension and invest in more life insurance.
I did go and see a docter again, and he gave me a blood pressure test which came out as low.
He just said "Make sure you get a good pension"
My TSH was 1.1 before i took it (i bought before hand but decided to see docter first). 2 Months on i was feeling really lethergic, brain fog, dizziness. I decided to take one 15mg, and over a month got to 120mg but even though i did it had no effect on me at all.
Even if my thyroid is working properly, would it not at least make a difference.
Example: taking 500mg, this would not make a difference or have any effect as my thyroid is working properly.
You should not self treat or medicate!
You are saying that your TSH was 1.1 before or after Armour?
If your TSH was 1.1 before Armour, you don't need medication. You can be doing more harm than good.
I don't understand your issue!
